No Client Relationship Implied

Accessing or using this website does not establish a therapist–client or coach–client relationship. Such a relationship is only formed after a consultation and signed agreement.

Counselling vs. Coaching

Heart Talk Counselling & Coaching offers both counselling and coaching. These services are distinct:

  • Counselling is therapeutic and regulated by provincial guidelines

  • Coaching is a non-clinical, forward-focused process centred on personal and professional development. It is a growth-oriented partnership that supports clarity, goal-setting, and meaningful action. Coaching is not clinical therapy and does not replace assessment or treatment provided by licensed mental-health professionals.

  • You will be informed about which service you are engaging with at the start.

*I am committed to the highest standards of professional practice in both counselling and coaching. As a Registered Counselling Therapist with ACTA, I abide by the ACTA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. As an ICF-credentialled coach, I adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics, including clarity of role, confidentiality, boundaries and integrity. If at any point your needs fall outside the scope of my services, I will openly discuss referral options

No Guarantees

While sessions are designed to support your growth, healing, and alignment, specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Not for Emergencies

This site is not a crisis service. If you're in an emergency or experiencing a mental health crisis, please call 911 or contact a local emergency resource immediately.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website (images, writing, materials) is the property of Heart Talk Counselling & Coaching unless otherwise credited. You may not use or reproduce any material without written permission.

International & Virtual Clients

Counselling is available to clients residing in Canada, in provinces and territories where Allyson is currently authorized to practice.
Coaching services are available internationally but are not a substitute for therapy or licensed mental health care.

By engaging virtually, you acknowledge and accept these boundaries of service.

Canadian Counselling Clients
Counselling services are currently available to residents across Canada under PACCP (The Professional Association of Christian Counsellors and Psychotherapists - Canada).

As counselling becomes regulated in additional provinces—including Alberta—service eligibility may be adjusted to remain in compliance with evolving provincial legislation.

Clients will be informed of any changes that may impact ongoing service or eligibility.
